The Banned Press Bookshop
The Banned Press is a Hispanic, Native American and Queer owned bookshop. We are located in Oklahoma City, providing space for banned books and also Queer and BIPOC authors and stories.
Who we are
We're Micah and Jason, we have been together almost four years and recently adopted a pup named Arlo. Books have been a focal point in our relationship since very early on. We believe the experiences you take through a story stay with you and become your own, the good, the bad and the ugly. They teach us who we want to become but also who we don't and give us insight on lives we will never nor want to live.
